Quotes and payment

I give a fixed quote before starting. The minimum charge for any visit is $75. Prices include tax. Payment is by cash or Interac e-Transfer when the work is finished.

Booking and cancellation

Please book at least one day ahead. If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell me as soon as possible and at least one day before the appointment.

Missing or damaged parts

I am not responsible for parts that are missing, damaged or defective when the box is opened. I will tell you which part is needed so you can request it from the retailer, and I will return to finish once it arrives.

Condition of the furniture

I assemble furniture according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I am not responsible for manufacturing defects, design faults, damage that happened before I arrived, or damage from shipping.

Packaging and clean-up

Clean-up of the packaging is the customer’s responsibility. If you would like it disposed of and there is a bin on the premises, I will take the packaging to the bin.

Your home

Please clear the work area and the path to it before I arrive. I am not responsible for damage that results from the condition of walls, floors or ceilings, including hidden wiring or pipes behind a wall.

After assembly

I am not responsible for damage caused by misuse, overloading, moving the furniture afterwards, or changes made by anyone else.
